UNION CITY A Hayward woman has been arrested and charged with attempted robbery more than a year after she allegedly pulled a gun on a man she met on a sugar daddy website according to court records The -year-old Hayward woman was charged last week with a single count of attempted robbery and personal use of a firearm The matter occurred in August after the victim arranged to pay to a woman he met on a website that promises to link sugar babies and sugar daddies according to police Instead when the man arrived at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Union City and attempted to bring the woman up to his room she pulled a gun on him according to police The victim allegedly lunged at the robber thwarting the robbery but she still made off with he d given her as a downpayment police stated Officers allege that the woman was with two men who acted as lookouts The men have not been charged Police are inspecting whether she was also responsible for a strikingly similar event in Newark which occurred this past August The woman was distributed from jail without bail and is next due in court on Dec according to court records She has not yet entered a plea
